Hi my name is Grace Sharples I am 12 years old & I am honoured to be chosen as this years Goosnargh & Whittingham Festival Queen.

As there is no retiring queen this year I am so grateful that my Grandma Margaret Gornall has agreed to Crown me Rose Queen, especially as it’s the queens jubilee year. My Grandma had been part of the village for many years.

I myself have been part of the Goosnargh Community all my life. I am looking forward to attending the other festivals and events over the next two years.

I have ideas for fund raising one being a fancy dress sponsored walk for the village community over summer.

Currently I am at Longridge High School I am in year 8, my Sister Lily is 15 and she is there too in year 10.

I look forward to seeing you all this year on festival day & next year 2023 as the retiring queen.
