For some years now, Committee Member Andy Thiele has worked tirelessly to maximise the potential of this major fundraiser. He is very grateful for the support of local businesses in donating the magnificent array of prizes and ensures that tickets are distributed widely in advance of Festival Day for pre-sale. Look out for notices in local shops and pubs.
On Festival Day itself Andy and his team of volunteer raffle ticket sellers work furiously to meet the demand. At just £1 per ticket, the Raffle is a very popular way to support the Festival The Draw takes place on Festival Day and Prizes are available for collection in the Village Hall during the Celebration Tea. Those not attending the event are contacted swiftly and arrangements made for the collection of prizes.
